In 2005 ex-Posies frontman Ken Stringfellow teamed up with norwegian electro-rockers Briskeby for the great single “Joe Dallesandro” – a homage to posterboy Joe D. known from the works of Andy Warhol, nude gay photos in the 70s, Miami Vice-episodes and a small role in Steven Soderbergh’s great movie “The Limey” (1999). But let’s get back to the music. Briskeby have split up, and together with Ken Stringfellow the remains of Briskeby – B�rd, Bj�rn and Claus started The Disciplines.

At the moment there is only a radio single out, but hopefully there will be a CD avaiable soon. The band have played one gig in Oslo and they will perform their songs in London June 1st (The Borderline) and June 4th (90 Free CDs at 93 Feet East). The single is called “The Best Mistake”. It is a great first single! Take a listen at the band’s myspace.
