Their hearts were full of Spring

July 16th, 2007 by Knut

Their hearts were full of spring

Oh, this is a nice one, and you should definitely check out the London band Their hearts were full of spring! I’m still in summer-mode, so I’ll just share my enthusiasm and give you some links and some songs from this beautiful band with such a beautiful name and incredibly beautiful songs. Their new single “A Question of Trust” is out today, and it is perfect pop, – nothing less than that. Think Morrissey with better melodies + a huge dose of sweet 60s inspired pop, handclaps and maybe also a little bit of Motown soul in there too. I like it A LOT.
They have 4 songs on their myspace, 3 of them are downloadable, and the B-side of the single is only streamable. You can get their single on most download services and probably elsewhere too. I bought mine from eMusic today.
They instantly became my ‘new favourite band’!

I agree, I saw this band on Sunday (15th).
They were fantastic, charming and cast a spell over their audience. I loved it and will be going to see them again.

Great! Guess the band is named after the beautiful Beach Boys song “Their hearts were full of Spring”.
