My Toys Like Me – cute computergame pop

I listened to Rob Da Bank’s latest Sundays Best-podcast (#10) earlier today, and got totally charmed by a band called My Toys Like Me. I don’t know much about them, other than that they’re from London and that they’re a boy and a girl (Frances Noon andLazlo Legezer). The song Rob Da Bank played was their latest single, “Barnaby”, an amazingly cute popsong with childish vocals and computergame-ish electronic blips and blops all around. “Barnaby” is available on 7″ from Rough Trade Records, and I haven’t been able to find it in any digital shops yet. You can listen to it at the band’s myspace pages (stream), and that will give you an idea of what I’m talking about. What do you think?
I found this free My Toys Like Me-track on LastFM, where you can also download a free remix of the same song.
The song is called “Sick Couple”:

BTW, the Sundays Best-podcast is highly recommended! I’ve found a lot of great new music through it.

I heard a few songs by them a while back through that concert Diesel had…good stuff. I especially love “Barnaby”.
Thanks for the lead to the remix!
