Eardrums-favourites and “A Good Crop” participants Their Hearts Were Full of Spring has teamed up with the web site God is in the TV, and today they release the first of a four-part seasonal single-project, a free winter-single, on the website. The band plan to make one double-a-side single every season for the next year, all of them free to download on GIITTV. The tracks will be seasonal cover versions, and the Winter-edition features a cover of Fleet Foxes‘ “White Winter Hymnal” and Neil Young‘s “Winterlong”.

The singles will also be released in a very limited CD version, which will be sold exclusively at live shows. The first physical release will come with a box where you can keep the whole series.
