Finally, the first part of the Eardrums spring compilation “Birdsongs, Beesongs” is available on the site. It’s free, and all the artists/labels have approved for the use of these songs.
On this one, we give you 20 fresh pop songs, and in the week(s) to come, 3 more volumes will be uploaded to the site with more brilliant pop music.

Today, on Saturday 28. March, from 21:15 (CEST/Norwegian time), I’ll be online, live-blogging. The theme is the new Eardrums compilation, and I’ll be playing some of the songs for you, showing the cover-art and answering your questions. I will probably also ask for some advice, and you can comment as we’re moving on. The live-blogging will happen in the window below.

The press release say:

I have no chance to listen to it right now, so I can’t tell you how it sounds,  but maybe you can tell me: Is this any good?

Well, here’s another update on the progress of the new Eardrums compilation.
I have received everything, all the music and all the cover-art is on my computer. GREAT STUFF!!
Two wonderful additions arrived in the last minute, from SATURDAY LOOKS GOOD TO ME and LUKE DONOVAN (singer in The Glad-Rags).

I planned to finish this much earlier, but life, health and other things have set me back quite a bit. Still some work left to be done, and I hope to finish and release the first part of the compilation on Saturday the 28 of March. So, I’m inviting you all to join me in my last preparations, and HOPEFULLY the finishing of the first volume (and maybe the second too). On Saturday from 21.15 (CEST/Norwegian time) I will be online and live-blogging as I am working. I will give you some previews on the songs on both the first volume and the ones that will come afterwards, and you will be given the first sneak-peak at the cover art. I will also answer questions and you can comment. I know that people who don’t make Eardrums-compilations usually do other things on a Saturday, so I don’t expect many of you here, but I will be very happy if some of you will give me some company.

To be honest, I am exhausted from the work on this one already, and I will be so so so happy when I have uploaded it all.
