I just wanted to make a short note about how I use Twitter as a part of the blog.
Instead of making a full blog-post every time I find some interesting news about a band I like, or when someone makes a good song available, I usually post on twitter about it. It’s fast and doesn’t take too much energy to do it. It takes me 5 seconds to write that tweet, while a full blogpost may take a lot longer.
If you’re not on twitter yourself, you can still read my twitter-posts. The latest tweets can be found in the sidebar on the right hand side of this page, and you can always head over to the main twitter page and read what I write there (works also if you are not registered): http://www.twitter.com/eardrums.
If you ARE on twitter, I’m happy to be followed. I guess I’m also easier to contact there. My consciousness is black when I think about how bad I am at responding to emails. I’m drowning in emails, but I’m still not drowning in twitter messages, so I’ll probably notice you better there.
Band-presentations, reviews and other stuff that demands more space will always be on the Eardrums blog, and when I have time and energy, I’ll even post bigger blog-posts about the things I tweet about too.
So here’s a quick look at what I have written on twitter recently:
For those of you who use Spotify, I still write the On The Spotify- blog with spotify-recommendations, but there I have even more used twitter as a tool. The OnTheSpot-blog is now entirely written on Twitter. You can still read it on http://onthespot.eardrumsmusic.com but it’s also possible to follow on the spot on twitter, where all of the content is written: http://www.twitter.com/onthespotify
So, that’s what I wanted to say about Eardrums and twitter…
