We’re on a Virtual World Tour with Candy Claws!

December 9th, 2009 by Knut

Candy Claws

Some time ago, I was asked to be a part of a very special world-tour with the band Candy Claws, who released a fine album on indiecater records earlier this year. The tour is not a usual world-tour, but a virtual one, and probably one of the first of its kind. The band has set up a full tour schedule on their blog, and will travel from website to website, all in different countries,  presenting a new side of themselves, – sometimes with videos, sometimes with songs and sometimes with other things.

Today, Candy Claws are visiting Norway on their virtual world tour, and the venue is Eardrums… Here is what they will present for you today, and below the video, you will find some words from the band:

A virtual world tour message from Candy Claws:

“Hallo Norge! Here we are on Day 13 of our “virtual” world tour for “In the Dream of the Sea Life.” Today you shall see the video for Starry Fighter Kite, third song on the album, but the first song we wrote, ever! The footage is from Bucerias, Mexico, where Ryan spent a warm, simple week with his family. Watch these pelicans together with us! This is how they get their food. How do you get yours? There are a few times when two or even three of them go into the water in perfect formation, the universe in flight with itself. So here we have pelicans from Mexico, filmed by Ryan from Fort Collins, for a song on an album released by a label in Ireland, making its video debut on a blog in Norway! It is beautiful here, the moon is shining everywhere.

You can stream the entire album, read reviews, and pick up a copy (digital or physical) at Indiecater.Visit our blog to catch up on the tour and see a full list of dates and links.

We just came from Asleep on the Compost Heap in Ireland, and tomorrow we’re off to Das Klienicum in Germany! Thanks for watching, see you soon!

-Ryan”
