New single from Chariots of Tuna – “I’m so good at shining” – and it shines!

Aahhh! A new single from Chariots of Tuna is better than Christmas, and this one is actually better than most things I can think of!
I adored their debut single, as you can see from my review, but the band has really progressed since then, and this is even better than I had dared to hope for. The songwriting is even more to the point, the vocals are more focussed and better, and these two songs are two gorgeous pop-treasures that in my ears are perfect. I am one of those who feel a little pain when I hear ecstatic guitar solos, but on “Seven miles away”, even the guitar solo is good!
I STILL want more…
The single is released for free through Tweefort Records, and you can get your digital copy here:

Thanks for the recommendation – pretty catchy! I guess the best things in life *are* free.
(But I’m still amazed when I find bands giving away such great songs) I’ll be keeping an eye out for future releases.

Glad you like it! Keep an eye out in early March, when we release our new EardrumsPop compilation “Between Two Waves”. It’s a compilation where all songs are made by bands collaborating with other bands, and Chariots of Tuna is as we speak working on a song together with the Spanish artist Cineplexx for this compilation. As you say, the best things in life are free, and so are all the EardrumsPop releases, also this one… (Have you heard the previous ones? They’re here: http://www.eardrumspop.com)

Of course I meant the Eardrums compilations too.
I know great free music is pretty common nowadays, especially on this website. Don’t mind me – I’m just an old fogey still getting used to the wonders of the internet, and this whole music downloading thing.
