Nish – lovely, melodic janglepop

Let me introduce you to Nish, a one-man band from the Florida area. He has recently released his first EP, “Nish 1″ as a free download on Bandcamp, with 3 home-recorded indiepop songs with a nice jangly, lo-fi sound.

The songs were recorded in his apartment on an 8-track, and Nish plays all the instruments himself. My favorite on the EP is the catchy “This Culture”, which has a bit of the (old) Beulah-sound to it, – and those who have followed this blog through the years, know that I love Beulah… So, I love this as well!

Nish is currently recording more of his songs, and hope to get into a proper studio soon for some better recordings. No need for that, in my opinion. These sound brilliant as they are!
