Tiny Fireflies has a long history with Eardrums Music and our label EardrumsPop, and it is with great excitement that I press play to listen to the first single from their debut-album “The Space Between”.

The song is called “Taken”, and it is a gorgeous, dreamy synthpop-tune, with Kristine Capua‘s lovely layered vocals on top and Lisle Mitnik‘s guitars carefully adding beautiful texture to the song without stealing the focus. Their new, more synth-based sound suits the band perfectly, and I think this really is a development that will benefit the band and fill new listeners’ ears with their soothing songs.

The new album will be out on 11 November, and will feature 9 songs

As I mentioned, Kristine and Lisle of Tiny Fireflies have a long history with Eardrums Music/ EardrumsPop. Their bands Fireflies (Lisle) and Tiny Microphone (Kristine) was frequently written about in the “old” Eardrums Music blog, and when our label EardrumsPop planned the release of our first collaboration compilation “Between Two Waves”, we asked them to collaborate on a song for us

. That was the birth of Tiny Fireflies.
Later they released their first EP on our label and also participated on two more of our compilations. You can download all of these and more for free on EardrumsPop.com
