Catholic Easter Colors is a new indiepop band from Birmingham, Alabama, who recently uploaded their first song “Gray & Green” to Bandcamp. It is the “B-side” to a new cassette tape they plan to release soon, and if the a-side is only half as brilliantly good as this one, I will strongly consider investing in a tape deck just for this.

The song starts with some nice jangly guitars, and when the catchy, melodic vocals come in, I’m sold.
It’s a lovely, lovely upbeat popsong about the interim period between the end of winter and beginning of spring.
Perfect.
