Sometimes Always is a wonderful band from Indonesia, who we released a 4 track EP with on our netlabel EardrumsPop late last year. I played around with some video-editing software, some public domain footage from the 60s and ended up with this video for their song “Be True”. Adam Ficek used to call himself Roses Kings Castles when he made music outside of his main band, Babyshambles, but now it’s shortened to RKC. RKC is now his main band, – he has left Babyshambles. Mint Julep, the husband-wife duo Keith and Hollie Kenniff, has made the first song from their upcoming album “Save Your Season” available for free download. “Aviary” is a lovely, upbeat pop-track, mainly based on electronics and with Hollie Kenniff’s dreamy vocals on top. “Reminds me of Cocteau Twins…” says one of the people who have commented the track on Soundcloud, and I agree.
