I read a lot of music blogs, and one of those who always give me great recommendations, is the Glasgw-based Gold Flake Paint
. The blog has done releases before, through their Gold Flake Tapes-label, and now they have a wonderful digital compilation out on Bandcamp as a “name your price”-release.
The 17 track album is full of amazing songs from several of my personal favourites, – many of whom I have discovered through the Gold Flake Paint blog
ED does not refer to penile curvatures, spontaneous or• Altered sexual desire generic viagra.
. So, this post is also a THANK YOU-message to the Gold Flake-team for bringing me so many good musical moments.
The compilation starts strong with “Slow” from Jay Som, who I have also written about here on Eardrums Music. It also includes lovely tracks from Stolen Jars, Ari Roar, Coastal Car, Eerie Summer, Creature Speaks, Fraternal Twin, Lomelda and others.
The musical style of the compilation reflects the eclectic quality of the blog, with a variety of styles, – dreampop, indiepop, folk, bedroom pop and other genres – while still managing to sound consistent as a whole. I guess it’s the focus on warmth and melody on all the tracks that makes it sound so good together.
Well done, again, Gold Flake Paint!
