So, I am too lazy right now to write separate posts about all these wonderful bands, so here they are in one post. Less for me to write, less clicking for you, and we’re all happy
. Right? Let’s start.
The Vryll Society – “Metropolis”
Isn’t this great? Liverpool’s The Vryll Society have really amazed me with their beautiful psych-pop in 2015. This is their new single, taken from their EP “Pangea”, which is highly recommended.
The Goon Sax – “Boyfriend”
Oh, how I love this song! The Goon Sax from Brisbane, Australia, are just brilliant.
Hinds – “San Diego”
This band, Hinds from Spain, must be the most charming band around these days. They both sound and look like they are having so much fun playing, and that feeling comes through in their music. I wish more bands sounded like they had fun playing!
Try the Pie – “Root to Branch”
Try the Pie is the solo project of Bean Kaloni Tupou, who has been a member of several bands I love before, like Sourpatch, Salt Flat, Crabapple and Plume. She has done noisier music under this name before, but her latest album is very lo-fi and down to earth, like this one. Beautiful music.
Flowers – “Pull my arm”
London-trio Flowers sometimes hit me right in the heart with their music, and sometimes they don’t
. This time they do. What a great singer Rachel Kenedy is!
