In this blog, you’ll find the music that really makes my heart beat faster.
No limits to genres or geography. Only good music.
Eardrums Music was started in 2006, ended in early 2013 and was resurrected in 2015.
In 2013, I was very sure that I would never ever blog again. mainly because I was flooded by promo emails and band requests (150+ every day) and got tired of feeling guilty of not being able to answer emails from bands or write about all the great bands that contacted me. Now, my attitude is different: I will only write when I want to and about the music I really, really like, – and emails will be answered when I can. I see the need for smaller bands to have more outlets for their promotion, and will try to be a good one. I also personally need an outlet for all the good music I discover and want to let the world know about.
I don’t want to limit myself to any category or genre. I listen to a lot of different music, so I will present the music that I like, – mostly of the very new kind. That said, – my guess is that the genres you’ll hear most in here will be indie, indiepop, folk, electronic pop and sometimes experimental music or neo-classical.
Eardrums Music is written by me, Knut, and located in Norway.
I am also a part of the label EardrumsPop, where we release great, free EPs and compilations, and I make music myself as Featherfin. I’ve added one of my music videos below. Have a listen!
