WHAT IS EARDRUMS?
Eardrums is a music blog with a focus on warm and melodic music in many genres. We write about music we like, – music we think you should like. The styles we cover are usually indiepop/jangle-pop/noise-pop/shoegaze/dreampop/ (etc.), folk, electronica and experimental. We like music with pop-elements.

Eardrums was started on march 30 – 2005.
DEMOS AND PROMOS
We ONLY accept digital promos (links to zips or mp3s), not cds and definitely not vinyl. If you feel closer to ROCK than POP, you may consider other blogs.
Send your promos to info@eardrumsmusic.com or use the contact form in the contact section. We get A LOT of promo-emails, and using the contact form may make it easier for you to get seen by us. Do not expect an answer from us. It’s not because we don’t want to answer you, but because of the number of emails we get, we just can’t answer all. We try to read through most promo-emails, – at least the ones that arrive via the contact form.
We prefer that you include a link to some website where we can stream your music (soundcloud, myspace, bandcamp, your own website etc)+ a download link. We want to give the songs a short listen before we download, to decide if this is something we want to spend our time on. Try to describe your music in short + give some facts about who you are (- it’s easier to get noticed if we see from your description that this is something we may like).
