This is so good!
Elizabeth Morris of Allo Darlin’ is out with a new solo release, “Athens”, a 4 track EP that in her own words is her “attempt to write political songs”. The EP was recorded live by Morris and her husband, Ola Innset (from Making Marks) on the 19th of November this year in Italy, and released – as you can see – very quickly afterwards.
All the songs are impressively good, and I am pretty excited about this release now. So beautiful!

“Historic Times was written after a night at a festival in Padova in July.
Athens was inspired by the events in Greece in the summer of 2015.
Australia was written in 10 minutes in response to Australia’s refugee policy.
The Season is a song about trying to be a better friend at Christmas.”
