New music from Lowpines is always worth celebrating here in the Eardrums office. Not because it happens so rarely, but because he always delivers songs that are so good that they are worth a celebration. Today, his new 6 track EP “That Bridge Washed Away In The Storm” is released on limited edition cassette and digitally via Bandcamp
. And yes, it is amazingly good!
Lowpines describes his music as “Lo-fi-anglo-americana-pop-songs”, and I would add calm, warm, poetic and lovely to that description. I would buy this for the amazing title track alone, but there are so many good tracks on this EP. Another big favourite is “Closed sign”, with its beautiful vocal harmonies and a surprisingly catchy piano
